The area around Barco Reale offers a wide selection of walking routes, for all kind of walkers, from the skilled ones to the lazy ones, for all ages and tastes. Lots of hiking options allowing to discover the typical Tuscan landscape among olive groves, vineyards and woods reaching charming little hamlets. 

We organise excursions either on foot or by bus. You will be led by a qualified guide and you will discover local concerns such as wine makers, olive-oil makers, cheese factories, local history museums and lovely views. 

Our InfoPoint staff can suggest customised itineraries according to the guests’ tastes with maps and tips. One of the most loved trekking route is the one going to Vinci (link), following Leonardo da Vinci’s steps to his birthplace immersed in nature.

You can book our shuttle service to go back to the campsite from Vinci after the walk, just ask our staff!
