Barco Reale Camping is located in Tuscany, amidst the hills surrounding Montalbano, characterized by a perfect mild climate all year around. The name of the campsite originates from the name “Barco”, an ancient and vast area used in the past for hunting by the the famous Medici Family.
Being in the heart of Tuscany, Camping Barco Reale is the perfect starting point to go and discover nearby must-see cities in Tuscany. Did you know that our camping is only 18 km from Pistoia, 57 km from Lucca, and 79 km from Pisa? Above all, Camping Barco Reale is close to Florence: only a 50 km ride and you are standing in front of the famous “Duomo di Firenze”.
The camping is surrounded by a pine and oak forest, and offers a splendid panoramic view over the vineyards and the surrounding countryside. This view can be best enjoyed from the swimming pools and the bar. The campsite also hosts a restaurant, a pizzeria, a multi-purpose sports court, a playground, a wifi area, and an open-air gym.
Barco Reale’s animation team organises a range of different activities to entertain both children and adults. Children can dance, make new friends, and have fun with our animation team and other kids during the baby dance, games, treasure hunts, and music events. Adults can learn how to make pasta, play during our sports tournaments, enjoy music events both at the campsite and in historical location nearby, join bus trips and guided walks
